HARDBACK BOOK "A Game Divided" by Peter McFarlane Pub: Hutchinson, Australia 1977 23 black and white photographs. Dustjacket and book near mint. The 1977 Australian tour of England resulted in their worst performance since 1886 but also co-incided with Kerry Packer's controversial signing of 35 of Australia's best cricketers for his own TV series. Peter McFarlane watched it unfold and recalls the amazing saga that effected cricket throughout the world. Peter McFarlane was the chief cricket writer for the "AGE" in Melbourne and winner of the Victoria Cricket Association's media award in 76/77.
