Priced then at 72 guineas. Original booklet. Condition: Piano finish. Gold mesh-work. Excellent inside. Scratch on front vein, top might need re French polishing as a bit scatched but pretty good. Item: R2 Garrard SP.25 MkII Single Record Playing Unit and Radio. 4 speed. Improved tubular aluminium pickup arm with a counterbalance weight and a calibrated dial to set stylus force easily. Cueing device to lower and raise the pickup gently, a patented pickup arm bias compensator and a lightweight plug-in pickup shell, which will accommodate a wide range of cartridges. Large loaded turntable driven by magnetically screened and resiliantly mounted Garrard Laboratory Series electric motor, through a retractable rubber wheel. 15 3/8 inches long by 13 1/8 inches wide. Original 12 page instruction manual for the deck and handbook with spare parts numbers at rear. Condition quite good. Some slight cracking of front glasss, one quite deep scratch on top only.
